Jemena is seeking a qualified contractor to lay 410 metres of 150 mm secondary steel pipe, install a 150 mm steel valve and cathodic protection test point to supply secondary gas pressure to Parramatta Square during April to July 2018. Walker Corporation are seeking to connect gas to a new development in Parramatta CBD. It has been confirmed the existing 7kPa network in Parramatta does not have the capacity to supply the proposed load, and therefore the site needs to be supplied from the secondary network. The proposed service location is located near the corner of Smith St and Macquarie St, Parramatta. The proposed route is to connect secondary 150 mm Steel main on Philip Street, then approximately 410 m of secondary steel lay along Smith Street and Macquarie Street to the service locations.
NOTE: Potholing results will be issued as an addendum when available.
