The Council of the City of Sydney invites Artists/artist led teams to submit proposals for the Woolloomooloo Community Mural Project in accordance with this request.
Through the Sustainable Sydney 2030 Vision the City has recognised its responsibilities to create a sustainable, livable, creative and vibrant city, and public art is an important way of achieving these goals. The City's Public Art Program encourages artists to contribute to enhancing, defining and re-defining the built and natural environment. Public Art expresses Sydney's dynamic culture and unique identity in the public realm.

The City of Sydney invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of The Drying Green Park, Green Square Town Centre. The Park is an open space of approximately 6,212 square metres and includes a substation/amenities building.
The interested party will be required to undertake design and construction of the Park.
Interested Parties are required to demonstrate their capacity, financial and technical capability for providing the services within the required timeframe, have had previous experience on similar sized projects and demonstrate a commitment to environmentally sound principles.

ABOUT CAMPBELLTOWN
Campbelltown is just 53kms from the Sydney CBD and covers an area of 312 km2, bounded by Glenfield in the north, Menangle Park in the south, the Georges River in the east and the Scenic Hills in the west.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified consultant to undertake scheduled water sampling at 13 selected sites within the Campbelltown LGA. The consultant will also be responsible for arranging the samples to be couriered to Council's preferred NATA accredited laboratory for analysis of enterococci, faecal coliforms, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and chlorophyll-a.
CURRENT SITUATION
Council's current Water Quality Monitoring Program (WQMP) was initiated in 2005 and includes the sampling and monitoring of 13 strategically selected sites within the Georges River and the Nepean River Catchments. The results of which are analysed against National guidelines for Fresh and Marine Water Quality developed by the Australian and New Zealand Environment and Conservation Council (ANZECC 2000). Additionally three sites are analysed against the National Health and Medical Research Council's Guidelines for Managing Risks in Recreational Water (NHMRC Guidelines).

PORTS NORTH. PORT OF CAIRNS - WHARF 10 FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM - REPLACEMENT OF FOAM CONCENTRATE. Tender No. PN 0624.
Ports North (PN) is responsible for the development and management of port facilities vital to the development of Cairns and regional centres in Far North Queensland. The Corporation has extensive property, marina, tourism and cargo facilities in Cairns and its regional ports.
Wharf number 10 is used for the discharge of all fuels and flammable gas imported into Cairns as well as bunkering some of the smaller coastal freight vessels. The existing Firefighting system was constructed and commissioned in 2005 with a 12,000 litre tank of Aqueous Film Foaming Foam concentrate now requiring replacement.
The Contract will include the supply of an equivalent volume of replacement foam concentrate compliant with the Queensland Government Department of Environment and Heritage Protection's Operational Policy for the Environmental Management of Firefighting foams released in July 2016. This Policy effectively bans the use of any firefighting foams that contain fluorinated compounds in over water firefighting systems such as the wharf 10 installation.
The works to be undertaken in this contract is the replacement of the existing firefighting foam concentrate and any associated modifications to the existing fire fighting system components. The works will be design and construct, with the contractor needing to determine suitable foam and the necessary modification required to achieve the specified performance requirements for the system.
