BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL. REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR ONLINE BOOKING AND PAYMENT SOLUTION.

Tender Overview: Request for Proposal (RFP) for Online Booking and Payment Solution - 510831.
· The Online Booking and Payment Solution is a key service that will be provide a solution for Council Online Bookings and Payments for Planetarium events and community halls.
The two largest users of online booking and payment solutions are:
· Community Halls is part of Lifestyle and Community Services.
· Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium.
· Lifestyle and Community Services also manages a total of 20 community halls with approximately 15,000 community hall bookings are managed every year. The community halls, are available to hire for a variety of events including weddings and receptions, birthdays, exhibitions, business functions, plays and musicals, club and group meetings, dances, conferences and cultural and religious events.
· The Planetarium facility currently accommodates approximately 140,000 members of the public every year. Planetarium staff currently utilise a solution to manage Planetarium sales (event / observatory, vouchers /passes, product sales) and stock control and services.
· In line with Council's Cloud computing strategy, Council's desire is to consolidate the online booking and payment functions currently provided in the two separate Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions into a transparent booking solution across Community halls and functions.
· Brisbane City Council is a large and diverse organisation providing a wide breath of services across Brisbane. Future process reviews and improvements may identify more areas of Council that require similar online booking and/or payment functionality. In the interest of value for money and providing a consistent user experience across Council's online services, the use of this solution may be expanded to cover additional services.
Council is seeking to use this RFP to establish a Preferred Supplier Arrangement. Under this arrangement, Council will enter into a Contract with the successful Tenderer. The Contract will be for an Initial Term of three (3) years with the option to extend for a further two (2) Additional Periods of one (1) year each.
The details as to how such Contracts are to operate and any such extension is to be granted are contained in the Contract of this RFP.

South East Water's Intelligent Systems team develops, manages and maintains a suite of software systems and applications. These software services are critical to the operation and management of South East Water's assets and services provided to customers.
The following is a list of all the distinct systems and services that the Intelligent Systems team are responsible for:
1. SCADA system for Water and Sewer networks;
2. SCADA system for Water Recycling Plants;
3. Installation and maintenance of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras;
4. Video Management System and integration with Access Control;
5. Deployment, calibration and commissioning of IoT devices; and
6. Development and configuration of IoT software systems.
