Council invites tenders for the provision of an integrated management system and associated services as a part of a Corporate System replacement of current systems. Council is seeking to implement a comprehensive and fully integrated solution based on current open systems technology and standards.

NORTHERN BEACHES COUNCIL TENDER RFT 2018/ 095 PV Cell Array Design and Installation
ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
The Northern Beaches Council is the formation of the merging of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah councils. It marks a new era and a period of exciting transformation. The new Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community.

SERVICE REQUIRED:
NOTE: timing for the works is intended to commence from the end of May 2018 and will need to be completed by 27 June 2018.
Northern Beaches Council (Council) invites tenders for the carrying out and completion of minor works for PV Cell Array Design and Installation at two locations; (1) Cromer Depot Administration Building and (2) the Balgowlah Depot Mechanics Workshop. The scope of the works includes, but it not limited to the following at each site:
1. Design, supply and installation of solar PV systems including grid connect solar inverters, any power optimisers, solar mounting equipment/systems, new AC and DC switchgear, cabling, cabling protection and monitoring systems (further detailed in Part D Specification). The locations of the PV Arrays are indicatively shown within Part D Specification but are subject to the design of the awarded tenderer and final measurements onsite by the awarded tenderer.
2. The awarded contractor will provide their workshop design drawings (including locations on the roof) and other documentation necessary to Council for approval prior to construction.
3. A preliminary set of design drawings / details are to be included in the tender document submitted by the closing date.
4. All associated connections from the solar PV cells to the inverter to the existing main switchboard located on each site. Connections to allow to supply back into the authority grid is to be included.
5. Modification to the existing site switchboards to accommodate to solar PV system point of connection. Includes installation of labelling and signage in accordance with the requirements of the reference standards, guidelines and codes (further detailed in Part D Specification)
6. Grid connection application, approval and all associated works including all necessary liaison and payment of associated fees.
7. Commissioning and testing of the complete electrical installation
8. Safe roof access in order to complete the works. Tenderers are to submit details of their proposed safe access methodology for consideration by Council.
9. Hoarding / Barrier protection during the works period. Both sites are to be operational during the works period. As part of tender submissions, it is recommended to supply a map illustrating the indicative locations of material storage and roof access for both sites.
10. Provision of an updated single line diagram for each site to include the PV installation and connections. Supply of Operation and Maintenance manuals for the installations in accordance with requirements detailed within in Part D Specification.
11. On site training of Council staff (minimum allowance of 2 hours per site) in basic operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the PV system in line with Operation and Maintenance manual
12. Provision of warranty details for each component of the system including panels and inverters
13. Upfront Small scale Technology Certificates STC discount.
14. Supply, installation and programming of web-based data monitoring system according to specifications provided.
15. Optional for council consideration: Provide a cost for undertake a one-off clean of the panels, inspect the clips, brackets and fixings for deterioration and replace any faulty components to maintain the condition of the system.

1. Installation of safe roof access ladders (if none are located on site already).

SITE BRIEFING:
A pre-tender briefing (which may include a Site inspection) will be held at Tuesday, 24 April 2018 at 9:00am at the Cromer Depot Administration building (55 Middleton Road, Cromer) followed by 10:30am at Balgowlah Depot Mechanics Building (46-48 Balgowlah Road, Balgowlah).
Tenderers should ensure they review the tender documents and understand the scope of work before attending the briefing. (See Part A5 - Conditions of Tender for details).
CLOSING DATE AND TIME:
Tenders/Quotations close at 2pm on Thursday, 10 May 2018 and must be fully received by this time.
LODGEMENT:
Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.

Description: The Department of Health is seeking to engage Medical Technical Writing services for the Medical Service Advisory Committee (MSAC), its two subcommittees and additional services to the Technology Assessment and Access Division.
The Medical Technical Writers are to attend meetings of the Medical Service Advisory Committee and its subcommittees and understand and accurately capture meeting discussions through the provision of draft minutes. Medical technical writing services could also include providing writing services in the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, surgical and medical services.
Conditions for Participation: Each participant must demonstrate that a minimum of three staff have qualifications in a science/medical field. Technical Writer must provide evidence of certificate of registration in the form of a diploma, degree or certificate.
