Tender: Water Sales, Queensland, closes 12/10/2018 Close of Business ...

SUNWATER. PARADISE DAM WATER SALES.
EOI now open until 12 October 2018.
Paradise Dam has significant water allocations available for sale, with only 11 per cent of the total available water capacity sold since 2005, leaving more than 100,000 megalitres of water available for purchase. SunWater has listened to customers on the prohibitive costs of water from Paradise Dam and are now seeking expressions of interest for the purchase of medium priority (MP) water allocations from Paradise Dam at the reduced price of $550 per megalitre. The reduced price point is based on customer feedback provided to SunWater via a recent review.
The new price would apply only to new MP water purchases from Paradise Dam and not be applied retrospectively to previously purchased allocations (i.e. no rebates would apply to previously purchased allocations). For existing allocation holders, the EOI presents an opportunity to register your interest in purchasing additional entitlement to improve long-term water security.
SunWater encourages all customers to take part in the EOI process, but wishes to emphasise capacity limitations of the network may prevent some irrigators from being granted desired additional water. More information regarding the EOI can be found here.
The EOI process will be open from 14 September 2018 to 12 October 2018.
To register your interest please complete the EOI application. Applications must be received by close of business Friday 12 October 2018. For more information call SunWater on 131-589.
Enquiries: Water Allocations are now available for purchase or lease from Paradise Dam and Kirar Weir. For more information or to receive a copy of the sales or lease documents, contact Customer Support on: Phone: 131-589. Email:
