MID-COAST COUNCIL - INVITATION TO TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CALLAGHANS CREEK BRIDGE. TENDER NO 2018-19/05 TEN-PE-BRIDGE-11814. ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Mid-Coast Council is situated on the Lower North Coast of NSW, sharing boundaries with Port Stephens Council (in the south), Dungog Shire Council (south west), Upper Hunter Council (west), Walcha Shire Council (North West), and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council (in the north). Mid-Coast Council covers an area of more than 10,000 square kilometres, comprising both coastal and forested rural hinterland. It has 3,590 kilometres of road, and has a total coastline of 190 kilometres. Taree is the largest town in the Council area and is 312 kilometres north of Sydney and 173 kilometres north of Newcastle. Other towns in the council area are Forster, Gloucester, Wingham, Tuncurry, Hawks Nest, Tea Gardens, Bulahdelah, Stroud, and Nabiac. Council has works depots at Taree, Gloucester, Tuncurry, Bulahdelah, Stroud, and Tea Gardens.
ABOUT THE TENDER: This tender is for The Works in this Contract comprise the construction of Callaghans Creek Bridge and all associated site and safety costs, overheads, testing and conformance requirements. The bridge is a 36.45m long, single lane, two span concrete structure including: Bored reinforced concrete piles, Insitu reinforced concrete abutments with wing walls, An insitu reinforced concrete pier, Prestressed concrete beams, An insitu reinforced concrete deck with low performance level concrete barriers and Thrie-beam connectors only. The road approaches may also be included in the contract as Provisional Items.

Local Government Procurement on behalf of Cumberland Council is seeking suitably qualified companies to submit a tender to establish a panel for Reactive and minor projects related works.
ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Cumberland Council was formed in May 2016. Located 25km west of the Sydney CBD, the Council has an estimated resident population of 219,300.
ABOUT THE TENDER: Cumberland Council invites suitable contractors to provide submissions for reactive and minor projects related works. This is a panel tender. Work under the nominated trade services categories will largely fall under electrical, mechanical, plumbing and roofing, fire, landscaping, building and associated works categories.
REGISTRATION: Tender documents will be available from Tuesday 11/12/2018. Tender documents must be obtained after registration via (see option below).
