MID-COAST COUNCIL - INVITATION TO TENDER FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY & PLACEMENT OF ASPHALTIC CONCRETE. TENDER NO 2016/17-48 TEN-OP-ASPHALT-17A. ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Mid-Coast Council is situated on the Lower North Coast of NSW, sharing boundaries with Port Stephens Council (in the south), Dungog Shire Council (south west), Upper Hunter Council (west), Walcha Shire Council (North West), and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council (in the north). Mid-Coast Council covers an area of more than 10,000 square kilometres, comprising both coastal and forested rural hinterland. It has 3,590 kilometres of road, and has a total coastline of 190 kilometres. Taree is the largest town in the Council area and is 312 kilometres north of Sydney and 173 kilometres north of Newcastle. Other towns in the council area are Forster, Gloucester, Wingham, Tuncurry, Hawks Nest, Tea Gardens, Bulahdelah, Stroud, and Nabiac. Council has works depots at Taree, Gloucester, Tuncurry, Bulahdelah, Stroud, and Tea Gardens. ABOUT THE TENDER: The tender is for the supply, delivery and placement of Asphaltic Concrete to various locations within the Mid-Coast Council area for the period 1st July 2017 through to 30th June 2019, there is a 1 year optional extension to the contract. WentWest, the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, is seeking to tender a provider to curate content for the 'Healthy Western Sydney TV' portal. The provider will curate evidence based and culturally appropriate health information in priority languages in multimedia forms e.g. YouTube, Vimeo videos. This will be embedded within Healthy Western Sydney (HWS), a consumer portal developed by WentWest which enables open access to health information and local health services.
ABOUT US: Since 2002 WentWest has been part of the Western Sydney community, delivering support and education to primary care and working with key partners to progress the region's health system.
As the Western Sydney Primary Health Network, WentWest is focused on addressing both regional and national health challenges. Procurement Australia, on behalf of the Eastern RPEN Group of Member Councils, invites tenders from suitably experienced companies to be considered as a panel provider emanating from this tender.
These councils undertake ongoing projects and/or annual programs of road resurfacing including the supply of asphalt ex bin, the supply and delivery of asphalt, the supply, delivery and laying of asphalt, profiling, various seal treatments, high friction surfacing, asphalt patching and other related services such as traffic management and the reinstatement of road markings.
The objective of this tender is to establish a panel of suitably experienced and qualified contractors that have the capability to service Member requirements on an as and when required basis.
This contract is applicable to organisations whose core function is road resurfacing. It is not applicable to those organisations whose core function is traffic management and/or road marking. Traffic management and the re-establishment of road marking will be managed by the Road Resurfacing contractor.
Interested respondents can tender for any one category, any combination of categories or the total requirement.
This contract is for the period commencing 1 July 2017 and ending 30 June 2020 with the potential of two (2) twelve (12) month options to extend.
