DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT. INVITATION TO TENDER (ITO) FOR ADVANCING CLEAN ENERGY SCHOOLS (ACES) PROGRAM to provide goods and services for solar photovoltaic and energy efficiency across Queensland state schools.

Tender Overview: Purpose: The purpose of the ITO is to invite submissions from suitably qualified partners with the capability, capacity for delivering a range of solar and energy efficiency measures to reduce energy costs across Queensland state schools.
The partners will be responsible for:
· undertaking energy efficiency audits;
· the design, supply and installation of proposed solutions;
· measurement and verification of savings;
· operations and maintenance of solutions.

The City of Kalamunda is inviting tenders for the following:
RFT 1812 Playground Inspections and Minor Repair Services
Works include:
Scope A: (annual and compliance auditing)
Playground inspections annually (every 12 months);
Minimum Australian Standards, Australian/New Zealand Standards (AS) compliance checks against condition and industry best practice, as part of those inspections; and
Report faults, non-compliance and recommend repairs;
Scope B: (maintenance and repairs)
Undertake minor servicing and repairs, as part of those inspections; and
Promptly undertake repair and replacement works at the direction of the City.

RFT18-2018 - Minor Works Schedule of Rates Tender.
ABOUT THE COUNCIL: Ku-ring-gai Council is located approximately 16 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD. The Ku-ring-gai local government area has a unique predominance of residential development, with a notable absence of industry or large commercial areas. It is valued for its dense tree cover and surrounded by steep gullies of bushland reserves and national parks.
ABOUT THE TENDER: Ku-ring-gai Council undertakes approximately $10 million in minor work contracts each year ($6 million on infrastructure and $4 million on open space) and is seeking rates for minor works contracts for the supply, construction, and maintenance of a number of infrastructure and open space related services. The services are divided into a number of categories and contractors may apply for one or many of these categories and item groups of services.
The works in this contract comprise the construction, reconstruction, restoration and repairs of infrastructure and open space works including: concrete footpaths; kerbs; gutters; drainage pipes and pits; and line marking; landscaping works and bush care. The contract works also include the maintenance of sports fields and the supply, installation and maintenance of irrigation and lighting systems. The works are to be carried out on an as required basis at various locations, times and quantities in the Ku-ring-gai Council Area for the contract period.

The Department of Housing and Public Works (Sport and Recreation Services) requires a supplier to undertake an assessment of how the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is internally operating, governance and whether it is achieving its goals. The review will also include an assessment of external opportunities such as market trends that are shaping high performance.
The project will include a review of:
· internal operations of the QAS including human resources
· governance and structure review
· an assessment of national / international market trends shaping high performance sport and other emerging trends (technology, generational, professionalisation of women's sport)
· leadership requirements for a 'new' QAS including remuneration requirements to attract relevant applicants

Council is currently reviewing its Engineering Standards for the delivery of community infrastructure, and we are seeking industry interest in working with us in their development.
Over the next six months, we'll be working in collaboration with our industry partners to review and develop practical and meaningful standards that deliver for our community, including a revised quality assurance framework.
Your input and participation is key, so that together we can develop a robust set of documents that work for Council and industry, achieving quality and innovative long term infrastructure outcomes for our community.
There are a number of opportunities to contribute, including viewing the documents online and providing feedback, and participating in a series of planned workshops.
As a first step, should you have an interested in working with Council to review and refine the draft documents, we are asking you to express your interest in becoming involved by registering using the subscription form.
Registration will take up to 24 hours to process after which time access to the Engineering Standards documentation will be available for download and comment.
