Tender: CT000473: Construction of Car Park & Associated Works at Jack Thomas Reserve, Narre Warren, Victoria, closes 17/10/2018 3:00 p.m. NSW ...

This contract relates too the construction of Car Park and Associated Works at Jack Thomas Reserve, Narre Warren.
The Works comprise but are not limited to:
1. Provision for traffic management and protection of the Works;
2. Setting out of the Works;
3. Clearing and grubbing including the removal of trees;
4. Earthworks including alterations to existing services;
5. Sawcutting the existing edge of pavement;
6. Sawcutting, breaking-out and removal of existing pavement;
7. Construction of concrete works, kerb and channel, drainage pits and footpath;
8. Construction of a crushed rock flexible pavement including primerseal and asphalt courses;
9. Installation of stormwater drainage and AG drains;
10. Installation of bio swales and landscaping works;
11. Removal of redundant pavement markings and RRPMs;
12. Supply and installation of signage and pavement marking;
13. Topsoiling and seeding of nature strips and disturbed areas.
TENDERERS PLEASE NOTE: Please note that the completed Tender Form and Pricing Schedule must be lodged separately, in addition to the remainder of your submission. Please do not attempt to embed these documents into the rest of your response. If the Tender Form and Pricing schedule are not received your tender submission will be deemed to be non-conforming.
We highly recommend that Suppliers allow at least an hour to lodge their submission in case they should have any difficulties. If all documents are not uploaded by 3.00 pm your tender will be deemed Non-Conforming.

Tender: RFT 2018/266 - Brookvale / Dee Why Transport Management & Accessibility Plan, New South Wales, closes 16/10/2018 2:00 p.m. NSW ...

The Northern Beaches Council is the formation of the merging of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah councils. It marks a new era and a period of exciting transformation. The new Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community.
Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance our quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect our environment.
Northern Beaches Council is calling for submission of tenders from suitably experienced traffic and transport consultants to develop the "Brookvale / Dee Why Transport Management & Accessibility Plan".
The appointed consultants will prepare mesoscopic traffic models for the study area using the Aimsun platform with associated reporting. This modelling will form the basis for the preparation of the Transport Management & Accessibility Plan to cater for future land use, development density and background traffic growth. The scope of the tender also includes localised SIDRA modelling of key intersections and a review of past traffic studies and Paramics modelling undertaken for both the Brookvale / Dee Why Area and Dee Why Town Centre.
The scope of work includes:
1. Literature research and review
2. Review of existing traffic modelling
3. Consultation with Council staff
4. Consultation with identified stakeholder organisations
5. Establish the existing operating level of the traffic network (AIMSUN base models)
6. Assess the current operation of individual intersections (SIDRA modelling)
7. Assess the future capacity levels of the road network (AIMSUN future models)
8. Assess the future operation of individual intersections (SIDRA modelling)
9. Identify issues and develop traffic and transport management improvements including CAD concept drawings
10. Prepare a Transport Management and Accessibility Plan in draft and final format drawing the above together
The work under the Tender is to be completed strictly in accordance with the requirements in the RFT document. To have tenders considered, consultants will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Tender document is provided.
It is expected that work will commence in early November 2018 with the final report completed in early August 2019.
The evaluation criteria for this request for tender are:

RFT Part F10 Conflict of Interest and Fair Dealing, Pass/Fail
RFT Part F11 Insurance, Pass/Fail
RFT Part F6 & F12 Proposed Methodology including Quality assurance, 35%
RFT Part F13 Schedule of Fees, 40%
Full RFT documents are available for download at a GST exclusive cost of $100.
Quotations close at 2pm on Thursday 16th October 2018 and must be fully received by this time.
Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
