Issued by: WA Country Health Service.
Tender Number: WACHS20181915.
Enquiries: Genevieve Williams. Phone number: 6551-1347. Email address:
Description: The Statewide Telehealth Service (STS) oversees the enabling and support of telehealth services and technology across the public sector in Western Australia. The STS operates out of the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) but has a state-wide responsibility. STS provides the telehealth network across WA Health including WACHS, metropolitan Health Service Providers, Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and other Government agencies.
The current videoconferencing environment has approximately 820 hardware endpoints (predominately Polycom) and a software client (desktop and mobile devices) widely distributed across the state. The existing Core Infrastructure is an Avaya product and WACHS requires the supply of additional Avaya videoconferencing related hardware and software required to stabilize and upgrade the current Core Infrastructure.
This core infrastructure upgrade is to rectify the following issues:
· capacity constraints during peak periods that impact the availability and quality of service;
· the use of this infrastructure to deliver 24/7 clinical services for which it was not originally architected, resulting in the available maintenance and support windows being reduced; and
· functionality that currently cannot be deployed due to the reliance on hardware rather than virtual servers.

TENDER. Number: D18-1117.
Description: Through this Request for Tender (RFT), WorkSafe is seeking proposals from Tenderers for the delivery of a number of major elements of the transformation, known as Transformation Packages (TPs), across three time horizons. Each of these three engagements (Horizon 1, Horizon 2 and Horizon 3) will be subject to multiple approval gates.
A summary of each horizon has been outlined below:
· Horizon 1 (July 2018 to September-2019) will focus on establishing technology foundations, whilst delivering initial areas of business transformation that include licensing, inspections and fraud management as these have fewer technology dependencies.
· Horizon 2 (mid 2019 to mid-2021) will see technology foundations matured. In this horizon, initial transformation packages are completed and activities with greater technology and/or technology foundation dependencies are commenced, including workers compensation management, field force management, and audit services.
· Horizon 3 (mid 2021 to mid-2023) will continue the rollout and the completion of packages, along with the commencement of final transformation packages that include investigations, complex dispute management and policy development and reform.
The scope of this RFT is to agree the overall end to end solution (requirements fit, implementation Licencing and BAU) and price certainty for all three Horizons. If at WorkSafe's discretion, it enters into a contract, the contract will be for Horizon 1. WorkSafe is seeking to ensure the Tenderer's response for Horizon 2 & Horizon 3 also meets the desired requirements, solution fit and is priced.
