NSW DEPT OF INDUSTRY - LANDS & WATER.
NIMMIE CAIRA STOCK AND DOMESTIC PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION.

Tender Details: The Nimmie Caira Stock and Domestic Water Supply Scheme is located south of the Sturt Highway between the towns of Maude and Balranald. The supply of stock and non-potable domestic water is to the entire Nimmie Caira property; an area of approximately 86,100 hectares.
The proposed works will consist of:
· A river pump station located 2.5km south of Maude on Maude Road extracting water from the Murrumbidgee River under basic landholder rights.
· A reticulated pipeline network of approximately 400km of high density polyethylene pipe (varying sizes) will distribute water to 142 poly tanks (23KL) and stock troughs.
· Two booster pump stations will be located along the scheme. The scheme will be designed to deliver approximately 800,000 L/day. A stocking rate of 1 dse/ha will be assumed for the design, which is slightly higher than the long term average stocking rate historically applied by Local Land Services and the Soil Conservation Service.
Additional Details / Instructions: Mandatory site tender briefing on 3rd October 2018, meeting at 8:30am at Maude Hall before travelling onto the Nimmie-Caira property. Contractors to make their own way in diesel vehicles only and bring own food and water for the day.

ABOUT HUNTER WATER CORPORATION: Hunter Water is a State Owned Corporation and the water and wastewater service provider for over half a million people in the lower Hunter region. There are 213,913 properties connected to the water network and 202,103 to the wastewater network.
Our area of operation covers 5,475km2 with a population of 517,403 in the local government areas of Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Cessnock, Maitland, Dungog and Port Stephens.
ABOUT THE TENDER: Tenders are invited for Provision of Maintenance alongside & Cleaning within Stormwater Channels in Various Drainage Systems.
The purpose of this tender is to engage an experienced contractor, with specialised equipment and experienced staff, to supply the service of maintenance alongside & cleaning within stormwater channels in various Drainage systems.
The work under this contract is primarily maintenance alongside and cleaning within stormwater channels across the six drainage systems (Throsby, Wallsend and Plattsburg, Jesmond, Cessnock, Cottage Creek and Winding Creek) controlled by Hunter Water.
The contract period will be for 3 years with 2x1 year extension options available.
SITE INSPECTION: is required.
There will be a MANDATORY briefing session held on Wednesday 26 September 2018, commencing at 8.00am, at Wallsend: Along Low St, Wallsend near intersection with George St up from O'Neill's Tyres adjacent Wallsend stormwater channel.
At this point a list will be provided with the order in which we plan to visit another 7 sites finishing at Parkway Ave, Hamilton East at intersection with Jenner Pde opposite netball courts at approximately 12.00 pm.
Special Instructions:
Tenders attending this session are required to wear Long Trousers, Hi-Vis Shirt Vest and enclosed footwear.
