ABOUT THE TENDER: Tenders are invited for Valve Maintenance and Repair Services for a three (3) year period with 2x1 year extension options.
The purpose of this tender is to engage an experienced contractor, with experienced staff, to supply the service of Valve Maintenance and Repairs on an as required basis.
This service is used to support Hunter Water Corporation's Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Group to allow greater flexibility in meeting the valve maintenance and emergency response requirements of the business.
This contract will also include a general mechanical maintenance requirement which would be for contract labour hire to support the Hunter Water maintenance team in time of high demand for example, shut downs break downs assisting with tankering or emergency situations. These engagements are short term where skilled personnel who are inducted and familiar with Hunter Water sites and process and may need to work unsupervised are required.
Tender Briefing Session: There will be an OPTIONAL briefing session held on Monday 1st May 2017, commencing at 9.00am at Hunter Water's Head Office.

Please note an agenda for the briefing sessions will not be distributed. The briefing session is for the purposes of discussion, clarification and assisting Tenderers to understand the requirements of this RFT.
The briefing session will conclude once all questions have been answered, but it is anticipated the briefing session will finish no later than 10.00am.

Hunter Water is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit.
