Tender: Placemaker Services, New South Wales, closes 05/03/2018 3:00 p.m. NSW

Frasers Property Australia is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons or organisations to activate a strategic placemaking plan for the Waterfront, Shell Cove.
The Waterfront forms part of the Shell Cove masterplanned development in the Shellharbour LGA (approximately one hour south of Sydney). The project being jointly developed by Frasers Property and Shellharbour City Council, includes the development of a significant regional boat harbour and marina precinct with a new town centre. The Waterfront will provide a focal hub for the local community and tourist visitation.
A Placemaker is sought to work with Frasers Property and Shellharbour City Council to activate a Strategic Placemaking Plan that ensures the successful development of the place as an active and desirable destination for both residents and visitors. Persons or organisations wishing to submit EOI must be capable of demonstrating:
minimum of 5 years' previous experience in related disciplines, including business development, placemaking, marketing/event management
background in Placemaking/Strategic Planning (not just tourism) with evidence of placemaking activation of greenfield sites creating a point of difference tourism destination
proven track record in event co-ordination and management
evidence of key strategic thinking
positive attitude, ability to be able to work autonomously and proactively engage with a variety of stakeholders
high level of communication skill, both written and verbal
experience in stakeholder management, including community engagement
lateral thinker able to deliver outside the square solutions and outcomes
experience in negotiating with businesses and associations and the formulation of agreements
a sound understanding o commercial and retail operations and relevant legal and economic factors
proven consultative project management
EOI submissions must be lodged in accordance with the tender requirements contained in the Consultancy Brief and by no later than 3.00 pm on Monday 5 March 2018.
